Students Walk for School Funding

Several hundred students walked out of school today to demand an end to the budget cuts and school funding.    Students from Kensington CAPA, Mastbaum, Frankford, Masterman and several other schools rallied at District Headquarters and marched first to City Hall and then to the Governor’s office in the Bellvue Straford to press their case that both the City and the State need to act to prevent yet another round of cuts to Philadlephia public schools.

The spirited action was led by Youth United for Change and supported by adults from PCAPS who helped marshall the event.
