1. We are entering the second week of district community meetings. We would like to have 2-3 people at each meeting to hand out PCAPS flyers and collect contact information. If you can make it to a meeting this week please email or so we can make sure you have flyers. We ask that you get to the meeting between 5:30 and 5:45 so you can pass out flyers as people enter.

Tuesday Jan. 15th Martin Luther King (6100 Stenton Avenue) Northwest Planning Area includes Germantown HS,Parkway Northwest HS, Lankenau HS, Elverson and Leeds Military Academies. 6-8 pm

Wednesday Jan. 16th Bartram HS (2401 S. 67th street) Southwest Planning Area includes Communications Tech HS, Motivation HS, Pepper, Shaw, Tilden, Comegys, Harrington, Mitchell

2. Tuesday Jan. 15th PCAPS phone bank is starting. We want to call all the people in our data base. The phone bank is at Unite Here! 421 North 7th street, suite 611 (215-232-3145) from 5:30-8.

3. Thursday Jan. 17th the School Reform Commission meets at 5:30. It is important for us to be present and tell them what we think. Bring signs.We are meeting at 5:15 outside 440 so that we can enter as a group with our signs. Please let us know about many people you are bringing and whether you need signs. Lisa can paint signs if needed.
PLEASE sign up to speak (215-400-4180 before 4:30 Wed) so that we can repeat our message of moratorium. You don’t have to prepare a three-minute speech with 7 copies. Just stand at the table and ask for the moratorium.

4. Sat. Jan. 19th – labor rally at Independence Mall from 10-11. Bring signs.
